It's been a very abundant week at Tiger.
Following a boosted collection from Fareshare we had a lot of food to turn around.
As always, we decide what can be used for our Tiger Eats menu to be collected by members. This week it was Vegan Cauliflower Cheese Bake, Carrot and Coriander Soup and Vegetable Curry. With the 2 boxes of Plums and a box of Apples Jack and the team also made Vegan and Gluten Free crumble - yum!
However, what to do with 3 boxes of Family Size Steak Pies?
The Tuesday Bowls Group took home pies for their tea, our volunteers also enjoyed pies and the last 8 were used at Friday's Lunch Club run by the church.
In addition, visitors to Wednesday's Tiger Cafe loved the Carrot and Coriander Soup and took advantage of a full Abundance Table of Apples, Satsumas, Bananas and veg from Fareshare and bread, rolls and cakes donated by Coop University Boulevard.
The last of the fruit was given to visitors to the Lunch Club and Paul from the Monday Soup Kitchen, along with M&S Milkshake and Peach Kefir.
Lots of people across Radford have eaten well this week.
