Our Tiger Eats project makes meals for the community.
We serve lunch every week at our Tiger Community Cafe, deliver soup and cake to the monthly Trent Dementia group, provide catering, have a street food stall at events and package surplus food into ready meals.
We will be relaunching our collection service, with new drop off partners, in 2026 - get in touch if you want to find out more - team@tigerprojects.co.uk
Our surplus gets put in the freezer and we offer it out through Too Good To Go.
Although the income from this is small, it all helps towards our running costs. For us the biggest bonus of using Too Good To Go is that it allows us to share our projects with the local community. We are in the heart of a student area, it's great to share food at affordable prices, ensure we are sustainable by minimising food waste and welcome students and the community to get involved in our activities and offer volunteering opportunities.
If your organisation has surplus food why not consider using Too Good To Go too?
It's a great marketing tool.
