After a lean period of grant funding rejections we were pleased to get an email from JN Derbyshire Trust, who we applied to months ago, to say we were getting a donation.
Thanks to this donation we are able to continue the work we do to in the community to support mental health and wellbeing, build skills and confidence, and bring people together.
This means we can run more sewing group sessions. With a focus on community making and sharing make do and mend skills to help people repurpose their clothes. Keep an eye on our socials for the dates in the diary.
We have also wanted to relaunch our Menopause Cafe. A regular meet up for women, whether you haven't hit it yet and want to know what to expect, are in the middle of it and need some support or have come out the other side and want to share your experience. This donation allows us to plan the format and some regular dates through 2026. We will let you know soon.
We continue to apply for funding so that we can broaden the sessions we run at All Souls Community Centre, allowing people to find the activity that works for them.
