Times are tough, funding is hard to come by and yet we need to keep running.
The Tiger Team works hard to support our community and the activities we run. There's also lots of extra work in the background to keep the bills paid. From running workshops to selling our handmade items and taking commissions, there's always something to do.
Staying positive gets particularly hard when someone thinks it's OK to steal from us and then there's a brick through a window!
Why don't we just call it a day? Believe me I've considered it in the last few weeks.
People. It's the people who benefit from the nurturing support they get from engaging in our activities. Who build their confidence, grow their skills, stay warm, make friends and enjoy a chat. It's the people who spend money with us, whether it's a donation (large or small), buying food or handmade items we make, or coming along to our events.
People put a smile back on our faces.
So thank you to everyone who is part of the Tiger tribe, however you engage with us. In particular the fabulous Tiger volunteers (including our makers in the wild).
