Cultural Fair Saturday 29 November 1-5pm

We are looking forward to our Cultural Fair at All Souls Community Centre next Saturday 1-5pm.
We’ve got some great people with us and it’s shaping up to be a lovely event.
For that last few months we have been working in collaboration with Angolan Women Voice Association UK, sharing resources and bringing our communities together.
The Cultural Fair is a celebration of that partnership, whilst showcasing local organisations doing great things in and with the community.
Everyone is invited along to enjoy an afternoon in great company.
Here’s our current line-up:
Tiger Community Enterprise - promoting Tiger Green Textiles, running the kitchen with drinks, cake and snacks available and an opportunity to sit for a chat
Angolan Women Voice - sharing info about activities they run, artwork for sale, created at their Art Club
Lisa Henry - Wellbeing Warrior - treat yourself to a massage taster session and find out about Lisa’s work and our next seated yoga sessions starting in January
Sumac Centre - find out about the activism and community that happens in their space in Forest Fields
Rebel Brew Cafe - Church will be talking about how the cafe supports groups and activism across Nottingham
Skills Exchange - find out from Rosie how it all works and how you can get involved.
Valerie - one of our regular volunteers and supporters, Valerie will have a selection of secondhand items which she will be selling to fundraise for local groups
Breaking Barriers Building Bridges - find out about their activities in the community and join them for a game of dominoes
Last but not least we are joined by Nottingham Women for Change who will be running a Women’s Poetry Open Mic throughout the afternoon. Inviting women to write some words and perform, with advice to combat nerves.
It’s going to be a small friendly event with things to get involved with and plenty of opportunities to chat, make some friends, finding out what is around to support our community and the projects making a difference locally.
