Thanks to recent funding from the Health & Wellbeing Community Champions at the City Council we are planning a series of Cook & Eat Sessions.
Food is something we all have in common, after all we have to eat every day.
We have an amazing mix of food available to us locally, wouldn't it be good to learn new recipes from people who cook them every day? Our Cook & Eat sessions will explore this knowledge and will welcome individuals in the community to lead some of the cooking sessions.
Coming together as a small group we will prepare and cook a meal together. Each session will focus on a different cooking style or ingredient, helping us learn new techniques and styles of cooking.
Once the meal is cooked we will sit around the table and eat together. Sharing stories around food and making new friendships. Building community cohesion through connections.
If you would like to get involved and share your cooking knowledge with friends in the community please get in touch to discuss - toni@tigerprojects.co.uk
