Even before Tiger Community Enterprise CIC existed, our Project Manager Toni Jarvis would always visit Notts Pride at the Arboretum. It was such a warm and welcoming event for her and the children to attend. At the core of Toni's vision for Tiger is support for everyone in our community, irrespective of social and cultural characteristics, background, and experiences. In turn, we ask for respect of other people's views and opinions, and the right for them to be heard without judgement.
A couple of years ago, Pride asked us to make some bunting to display on Broad Street so, from our Hub on Lister Gate, this soon became an all-inclusive project for us, involving businesses, family groups and volunteers, producing not only bunting but sustainable, colourful, and impactful positive statement flags and banners as well. Last year we returned with an even bigger display, and we were thrilled to be recognised with an award from Pride. The award may have our name on it, but it is not just for Tiger, it is for the whole community supporting the event. We are now delighted to announce our involvement again this year, ideas and plans are already being discussed at our new base in All Souls Community Centre on Ilkeston Road.
Tiger Community Enterprise CIC will always support love, inclusivity, and respect in our community, and look forward to a fantastic Notts Pride Event in 2025.
